ABOUT US:

Andrew and Sue Cameron have been involved in the training and assessment industry throughout Perth and W.A. since 1996.  They were the owner operators of Equip-Safe RTO # 0846. Equip-Safe was one of the original RTOs in Australia. Andrew and Sue were always ‘hands on’ until they sold Equip-Safe in 2022.

Andrew spent his working career in many different industries. These included agriculture, commerce, retail, warehousing, transport, metal fabrication, construction, general industry, automotive, along with various roles in the mining industry. This has helped Andrew understand the various requirements when conducting training across different industry sectors. It is not “one size fits all”.

Andrew believes most people learn by doing.  This is especially so of people associated with trades and manual work.  “If I teach you how to operate a machine or how to do a task, then I do not need to teach you how to answer questions.”  The answers will be a result of what you did.  They will rarely be a result of something you read in a book or saw on a PowerPoint slide.
